THA Foundation

As a nonprofit research and education subsidiary of the Texas Hospital Association, the Texas Hospital Association Foundation provides opportunities for hospitals to share and learn from each other as they work to improve patient care. The foundation’s clinical initiatives division advance proven strategies that enhance the quality and safety of care provided in Texas hospitals. The foundation’s education division develops an array of year-round continuing professional education for hospital leadership teams, featuring industry thought leaders and health care best practices. Texas Hospital Insurance Exchange

Texas hospitals count on the Texas Hospital Insurance Exchange for affordable, comprehensive, knowledgeable business insurance products and services designed specifically for the hospital market. THIE is managed by the Texas Hospital Insurance NetworK, a wholly owned THA subsidiary. THIE offers workers’ compensation, liability, and property, equipment and vehicle insurance coverage plus risk management and third-party administration services. LEARN MORE

Texas Healthcare Trustees

Texas Healthcare Trustees is a statewide association whose members are Texas hospitals, health systems and health related organizations. THT provides education, advocacy and leadership for governing board members. Membership includes more than 450 governing boards and represents nearly 4,000 trustees. THT is the oldest trustee organization in the country, founded in 1961 and is affiliated with the Texas Hospital Association. LEARN MORE

HOSPAC

HOSPAC, composed of THA’s state and federal political action committees, is the voice for more than 355,000 health care professionals working in hospitals throughout the state. Established in 1981, HOSPAC State supports candidates for state legislative positions and certain statewide offices.  HOSPAC Federal was organized in 1996 to support Texas candidates for election to U.S. Congress.
